We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "ADPCM", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Electronicstalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Voice synthesis IC is easy to integrate from Oki Electric, which we summarised at the time by saying "Event input method enables playback of prerecorded voice data by using level shifting at the input terminal as the starting trigger". A couple of weeks before, we featured the news release IC upgrades Bluetooth possibilities from Cambridge Silicon Radio: "BlueCore6 includes CSR's AuriStream technology, which provides toll quality voice calls and is capable of a 40% reduction in power consumption".

In March 2006, we covered the news from Wordsworth Technology concerning its IVC-8371P - take a look at A/V capture card runs its own MPEG4 hardware which says: "The high performance IVC-8371P includes four channels of video and audio MPEG4 hardware encoding to provide real-time VGA quality video and stereo audio capture for each channel".

Take a look also at the news release from Wordsworth Technology, Capture card handles multiple channels, as well as Acoustic playbacks have high density memory from Oki Electric, and ADPCM processor has eight full-duplex channels from Steadlands.
