We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "ASIC devices", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Electronicstalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Airbus signs up for switch to ASIC from AMI Semiconductor, which we summarised at the time by saying "AMI Semiconductor is to provide FPGA-to-ASIC conversion solutions for two components used by Airbus for establishing discrete signal acquisition in various flight systems". A few weeks before, we featured the news release Software develops RTL code automatically from Synplicity: "Synplify DSP ASIC Edition software allows designers to explore speed and area tradeoffs, often leading to significant area and timing improvements over hand-coded approaches".

In March 2007, we covered the news from eASIC Corp concerning its H264-MCE on Nextreme - take a look at Video encoder core on structured ASICs which says: "The H264-MCE multichannel baseline video encoder core from CAST is now available for implementation in Nextreme structured ASIC devices".

Take a look also at the news release from eASIC Corp, Structured ASIC devices are supported in Korea, as well as Simulator to support IP cores from Gaisler Research, and German and French channel partners for eASIC from eASIC Corp.
