We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "ASIC vendors", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Electronicstalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Topographical technology aids ASIC layout from Synopsys, which we summarised at the time by saying "IBM has added support for topographical technology in its 90 and 65nm based application specific integrated circuit (ASIC) design kits". A few weeks before, we featured the news release System developers to get RapidIO IP for a price from Tundra Semiconductor: "System interconnect specialist is now developing RapidIO Endpoint IP for license".

In December 2006, we covered the news from Mercury Computer Systems concerning its Rapidio IP core products - take a look at Mercury Computer Systems selected by AMCC which says: "Applied Micro Circuits (AMCC) has licensed Mercury's serial rapidio verification intellectual property (IP) and serial rapidio IP core products".

Take a look also at the news release from Jennic, Bridge IP puts Serial RapidIO into PCI systems, as well as Compiler synthesis proves popular in Japan from Cadence Design Systems, and Software accelerates platform ASIC design from Synplicity.
