We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Broadband access", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Electronicstalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release VDSL2 chipsets drive fibre to the remote from Ikanos Communications, which we summarised at the time by saying "Chipsets are designed to deliver the highest throughput and density with the lowest power consumption per port". A couple of weeks before, we featured the news release WiMAX offers 3G+ broadband alternative from Forward Concepts: "Study analyses WiMAX operators, equipment, chips and broadband alternatives, both wired and wireless".

In November 2007, we covered the news from Fujitsu Microelectronics Europe concerning its MB87Q2091 - take a look at Mapper manages Ethernet LAN/WAN transport which says: "With support for multiple mapping modes, the device provides maximum flexibility to manage Ethernet LAN/WAN transport over metro and core networks".

Take a look also at the news release from Express Logic, RTOS covers full range of VoIP gateways, as well as Cores to power broadband access from MIPS Technologies, and Platform packages networking technologies from Wind River Systems.
