We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Buffer memory", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Electronicstalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release IC boosts audio possibilities for mobile phones from austriamicrosystems, which we summarised at the time by saying "An on-chip 512Kbyte buffer memory in the AS3532 music player IC allows single-chip support of all key audio formats, both compressed and lossless". A few weeks before, we featured the news release LCD controller maps out many languages from RAiO Technology: "The RA8816 is a dot-matrix LCD driver that supports both character and graphics modes".

In December 2007, we covered the news from Ramtron International concerning its FM3130 and FM3104 - take a look at FRAM-based companions aid diesel analysis which says: "The combination of FRAM and an RTC is ideal for intensive data collection and storage of vehicle exhaust temperatures, system back pressure and time logs".

Take a look also at the news release from Toshiba Europe Storage Device Division, Large hard disk fits in small drive, as well as LCD controller replaces legacy Epson devices from RAiO Technology, and FlexRay controller works with several buses from Fujitsu Microelectronics Europe.
