Start with the news release ITT CoF filters provide platform for TVS connector from ITT Interconnect Solutions, which we summarised at the time by saying "The chip-on-flex (CoF) filters from ITT Interconnect Solutions provide the framework for a new TVS surge suppression connector.". Several months prior to that, we featured the news release Fox releases ceramic SMD automotive-grade crystals from Fox Electronics: "Fox Electronics has introduced the FXA5032B and FXA7050B ceramic SMD (surface mount device) automotive-grade crystals.".

In June 2009, we covered the news from ON Semiconductor - take a look at Protection devices housed in ultra-small package which says: "ON Semiconductor has introduced two electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection devices housed in its ultra-small 0201 dual silicon no-lead (DSN-2) package. ".
