We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Cordless phones", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Electronicstalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release DECT phone chip on the route to CAT-iq compliance from SiTel Semiconductor, which we summarised at the time by saying "Handsets developed by RTX using SiTel's single-chip DECT telephone silicon are among the first products to achieve the initial step towards full CAT-iq certification". A few weeks before, we featured the news release Report forecasts cellular market moves from Forward Concepts: "In-depth study of the worldwide cellphone market provides dozens of forecasts by technology and by region through 2011 of handsets, subscribers and chips of all types".

In May 2007, we covered the news from Forward Concepts - take a look at Wireless segment drags DSP sales down which says: "Forward Concepts reports that DSP chip shipments in March 2007 were up 18% over February levels in its latest DSP/Wireless Market Bulletin".

Take a look also at the news release from Texas Instruments (April 2006-), DSP cuts power to new lows, as well as Radio SoC drives precertified RF modules from Cypress Semiconductor, and Wireless modules make more of USB from Cypress Semiconductor.
