We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Crossconnects", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Electronicstalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Novel technology raises DSL bandwidth for HD video from Texas Instruments (April 2001-March 2006), which we summarised at the time by saying "UDSL is new high-bandwidth DSL technology that is backwards compatible with current infrastructure and will make it possible for operators to add video to existing data and voice services". Earlier in the week, we featured the news release Digital PLLs claim carrier-class performance from Zarlink Semiconductor: "Two new digital PLLs for timing cards enable carrier-class reliability and performance in proprietary and standardised networking system architectures, including H.110 and Advanced TCA".

In November 2003, we covered the news from AMP Netconnect concerning its 610XC Category 6 crossconnect system - take a look at Crossconnect covers Cat 6 cables which says: "The new AMP Netconnect 610XC Category 6 crossconnect system uses an innovative shielding technique to provide a high level of performance in the same footprint as standard crossconnects".

Take a look also at the news release from Molex UK, Backplane speeds differential pairs, as well as Transceiver takes on protocol layer testing from Exfo Electro-Optical Engineering, and Ethernet blade has all three rates covered from Apcon.
