We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Crosspoint switch", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Electronicstalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release LVDS switch suits clock and data switching/routing from National Semiconductor, which we summarised at the time by saying "The DS25CP104 is well-suited for clock and data switching/routing in telecom, professional video, storage, and automated test equipment (ATE) applications". A few weeks before, we featured the news release Crosspoint switches run up to 4.25Gbit/s from Texas Instruments (April 2006-): "Four-by-four and two-by-two switches combine high speed, low power and low jitter performance for applications such as XAUI signal buffering/muxing".

In September 2006, we covered the news from Intersil concerning its ISL59534 - take a look at Crosspoint switch provides black-level accuracy which says: "Video crosspoint switch provides correctly balanced composite video with fewer external components".

Take a look also at the news release from Intersil, Video crosspoint maintains black-level accuracy, as well as SDI reclocker is the industry's smallest from National Semiconductor, and Video crosspoint switches more in one from Intersil.
