Wolfson launches silicon microphones from
Wolfson Microelectronics, which we summarised at the time by saying "Wolfson Microelectronics has announced the first devices in its new range of silicon microphones, due for release over the next 12 months.".
Several months prior to that,
we featured the news release S9705 to replace CdS photoconductive cells from
Hamamatsu Photonics UK: "Hamamatsu Photonics has introduced a light to frequency output Photo IC, which aims to replace traditional CdS photoconductive cells.".
