We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Daughterboard", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Electronicstalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Package puts graphics on MCU-based systems from Microchip Technology, which we summarised at the time by saying "QVGA graphics solution supports any of Microchip's existing PIC24F 16bit microcontrollers, and will offer support for future PIC24H 16bit microcontrollers". A few weeks before, we featured the news release Development kits support microcontroller from STMicroelectronics: "Starter kits, from Hitex, IAR, Keil and Raisonance make it quick and easy for users to explore the STM32's features with a minimal investment of time and money".

In September 2007, we covered the news from Murata Electronics (UK) concerning its MPDRX series - take a look at Speedy convertors power sensitive circuits which says: "Ultra-high-speed response DC/DC convertors are ideal for computer based equipment used in telecomms, industrial and instrumentation applications".

Take a look also at the news release from VIA Technologies, Tiny mainboard is first with dual display support, as well as Board eases transition between 8 and 32bit MCUs from Future Electronics, and Serdes board speeds ASIC prototyping from Hardi Electronics.
