We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Daughterboards", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Electronicstalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Connectors come in multiple configurations from Sullins Electronics, which we summarised at the time by saying "The PCB mount series' cantilever contacts offer a reliable connection in a wide array of high-reliability, or high-cycle mother-daughterboard applications". A couple of weeks before, we featured the news release ASIC prototyping board boasts biggest FPGA from Synplicity: "System provides a cost-effective, high-performance prototyping solution that reduces development time for today's challenging SoC designs".

In June 2007, we covered the news from Future Electronics concerning its Crossbow - take a look at Board eases transition between 8 and 32bit MCUs which says: "Development board allows designers experiment with the use of various 8 and 32bit Freescale Semiconductor microcontrollers in system prototypes".

Take a look also at the news release from Hardi Electronics, ASIC prototyping board boasts biggest FPGA, as well as Daughtercard adds Flash disk flexibility from Radstone Embedded Computing, and FPGA development board is even more configurable from Altium.
