Start with the news release VxWorks system supports Pentek 4207 processor from Pentek, which we summarised at the time by saying "Pentek has released Wind River's VxWorks operating system support for its Model 4207 processor board for high-performance I/O and data-acquisition systems. ". Several months prior to that, we featured the news release NI develops controller for wireless testing from National Instruments: "National Instruments has introduced the NI PXIe-8108 high-performance embedded controller, which features an Intel Core 2 Duo T9400 processor.".
 
In July 2009, we covered the news from Congatec - take a look at Congatec adds XA945 module to range which says: "Congatec has announced the Conga-XA945 module as the latest addition to the company's ETX/XTX product family.".
