‘Debuggers’
An Electronicstalk guide
Start with the news release
IAR Embedded Workbench available for Renesas MCUs from
IAR Systems, which we summarised at the time by saying "IAR Systems has announced that the IAR Embedded Workbench is now available for Renesas's SH-2A and SH2A-FPU microcontroller (MCU) architectures.".
Several months prior to that,
we featured the news release Abatron debugger gets development support from
Computer Solutions: "Computer Solutions has announced that development support for microprocessor devices based on the ARM Cortex architecture is available on its Abatron BDI3000 high-speed debugger.".
In February 2009, we covered the news from Phaedrus Systems
- take a look at JTAG emulator for ARM architectures
which says: "Phaedrus Systems has introduced the J-Link ARM Pro, a JTAG emulator for a range of ARM architectures.".
Take a look also at the news release from Macraigor Systems, Macraigor ports debug and toolsets to processors,
as well as Freescale develops virtual prototypes from Freescale Semiconductor,
and MCUs take control of home entertainment from Gleichmann-Sunrise.
