We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "DIMM", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Electronicstalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Basestation processors sport 16 virtual CPUs from Raza Microelectronics, which we summarised at the time by saying "First multicore multithreaded processor with integrated support for Serial RapidIO interface as well as for IEEE1588 precision timing protocol controller". Earlier in the week, we featured the news release I/O modules check out memory interfaces from Goepel Electronic: "Low-cost digital module enables the testing of all signal and voltage supply pins of JEDEC-compliant DDR2 Mini DIMM 244 sockets".

In January 2008, we covered the news from Aaeon concerning its FSB-960H SBC - take a look at Single-board computer meets multicore demands which says: "Two DIMM slots of dual-channel DDR II 800 RAM provide ample memory bus bandwidth for demanding applications".

Take a look also at the news release from Axiomtek, System-on-module speeds in with Core2 Duo, as well as FPGAs race to DDR3 interface speeds from Altera Europe, and Waveform generator rides PCI Express bus from Strategic Test.
