We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Distributed power architecture", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Electronicstalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release DC/DC convertors provide power density boost from FDK Corp, which we summarised at the time by saying "Senpai's new DC/DC convertors suit applications that require high efficiency, tight regulation and high reliability in elevated temperature environments". Earlier in the week, we featured the news release DC/DC convertors survive with minimal cooling from FDK Corp: "The FPMR05SR75 10A Senpai DC/DC convertors provide tightly-regulated programmable output voltages in the range of 0.75 to 3.63V DC".

In February 2008, we covered the news from Bel Power concerning its 0RQB-C0U DC/DC convertors - take a look at DC/DC convertors keep weight and cost down which says: "UL/cUL 60950-1 DC/DC convertors suit distributed power architecture applications where space is limited and overall weight is a factor".

Take a look also at the news release from Ideal Power, Small DC/DC convertor suits tight applications, as well as Convertors raise temperature tolerance at PoL from FDK Corp, and Eighth-brick convertors power through the heat from FDK Corp.
