Start with the news release Fanless CPU boards save power from Kontron UK, which we summarised at the time by saying "The 600MHz Intel Pentium M processor offers a higher processing speed without higher power consumption". A couple of weeks before, we featured the news release Small form factor board has multiple connectors from Acrosser: "EPIC-format single board computer provides the performance required for embedded systems, transportation, panel PCs or digital signage".
 
In October 2007, we covered the news from Axiomtek concerning its EP830 SBC - take a look at Single-board computer supports Intel processors which says: "The EP830 embedded board offers improved graphics and increased I/O bandwidth and provides excellent flexibility for a wide range of embedded applications".
