We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Ethernet networks", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Electronicstalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Processors handle Ethernet demands from EZchip Technologies, which we summarised at the time by saying "NPA network processors address the transition of carrier access from ATM/TDM based networks to Ethernet packet-based networks and the provisioning of triple-play services". A couple of weeks before, we featured the news release Ethernet test system eases setup from Exfo Electro-Optical Engineering: "The AXS-200/850 Ethernet test module boasts simple pass/fail displays and one-touch function buttons to address the real-life challenges experienced by field technicians".

In June 2007, we covered the news from EZchip Technologies concerning its NP-4 - take a look at Processor promises all line-card functions in one which says: "Network processor aims to offer system vendors a significant cost reduction by integrating all the key components of their line card into a single chip".

Take a look also at the news release from Pleora Technologies, Multiport transport system for video over Ethernet, as well as Optical components business set to explode from CIR, and Design simplifies metro-service access solutions from Exar.
