We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Frequency modulation", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Electronicstalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Dual operating modes boost controller flexibility from STMicroelectronics, which we summarised at the time by saying "The L6566 selectable multimode controller is suitable for applications such as flyback AC/DC adapters, TV and LCD monitors, small size LCD TVs, high end chargers and other consumer equipment". Several months prior to that, we featured the news release Buck regulators answer lower voltage demands from Semtech: "Two new 1.5A DC/DC step-down (buck) regulators target the lower voltage levels needed for next-generation portable device designs".

In May 2007, we covered the news from Fairchild Semiconductor concerning its Green FPS e-Series - take a look at Valley switching answers Californian concerns which says: "Highly integrated power switch ICs provide high energy efficiency and system reliability in DVD player, set top box, LCD monitor and other 25W and lower power supply designs".

Take a look also at the news release from Aeroflex, Software standardises multiple radio tests, as well as 1A synchronous buck regulator for portables from Semtech, and Project 25 radio tester produces more data from Aeroflex.
