We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "GPIO", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Electronicstalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Basestation processors sport 16 virtual CPUs from Raza Microelectronics, which we summarised at the time by saying "First multicore multithreaded processor with integrated support for Serial RapidIO interface as well as for IEEE1588 precision timing protocol controller". The day before, we featured the news release SBC takes on graphics intensive applications from BVM: "MicroATX-format embedded board promises excellent performance per watt, is I/O-rich offers outstanding 3D graphics performance, impressive I/O bandwidth and outstanding reliability".

In January 2008, we covered the news from Datasound Laboratories concerning its ICOP-6115 - take a look at Controller module fits familiar x86 environment which says: "The ultra-low-power ICOP-6115 is ideal for applications that require a high-end microcontroller without the price and power consumption to match".

Take a look also at the news release from BVM, Fanless computer suits signage applications, as well as Kit gets started on low-power programmable devices from Mouser Electronics, and Embedded board secures network applications from VIA Technologies.
