We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "IEEE standard", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Electronicstalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release IEEE standard adds to chirp support from Nanotron Technologies, which we summarised at the time by saying "The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) has approved the chirp spread spectrum (CSS) physical layer (PHY) in its new wireless standard 802.15.4a". A few weeks before, we featured the news release Boundary-scan software extends to dot6 standard from JTAG Technologies: "JTAG Technologies has announced the industry's most complete support for PCB and systems testing based on IEEE standard 1149.6 for advanced digital networks".

In November 2006, we covered the news from Virage Logic - take a look at IEEE award for Chief Scientist Zorian which says: "Dr Yervant Zorian has received the Hans Karlsson Award for Technical Leadership and Achievement Through Collaboration from the IEEE Computer Society".

Take a look also at the news release from Exfo Electro-Optical Engineering, Ethernet test modules add VLAN coverage, as well as Software smoothes transition to test from Globetech Solutions, and Microsoft support to drive faster FireWire from Oxford Semiconductor.
