We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "ISO7816", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Electronicstalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Smartcard microcontroller boasts a big Flash from Silicon Storage Technology, which we summarised at the time by saying "Device offers 240Kbyte of user-configurable memory based on SST's patented SuperFlash technology". A few weeks before, we featured the news release Secure MCU offers flexible Flash alternative from Atmel Corporation: "Flash-based secure microcontroller targets applications that require high computing power, high-speed communication interfaces and seamless connection to very large memories".

In June 2007, we covered the news from Linear Technology Corp concerning its LTC4558 - take a look at Power supply chip is smart SIM option which says: "Power supply IC with level translator provides both 1.8 and 3V SIM power and digital signal level shifting in a tiny QFN package".

Take a look also at the news release from Alpha Micro Components, SoC secures chip and PIN card readers, as well as Speedster upgrades 32bit MCU applications from Renesas Technology Europe, and Speedy 32bit MCU has time for industrial tasks from Renesas Technology Europe.
