‘Led Driver’

An Electronicstalk guide

Start with the news release Austriamicrosystems releases AS1115 LED driver from Austriamicrosystems, which we summarised at the time by saying "Austriamicrosystems has expanded its LED driver portfolio with the AS1115, an easy to use user interface (UI) LED driver. ". Several months prior to that, we featured the news release MC34845 LED driver quietens LED backlights from Freescale Semiconductor: "Freescale Semiconductor has introduced the MC34845 LED driver with high-speed pulse width modulation (PWM) capability.".

In July 2009, we covered the news from Analog Devices - take a look at ADP1655 brightens digital-camera flashes which says: "Analog Devices has released a dual-white LED flash driver for battery-operated digital cameras that increases flash brightness to more than 200 lumens and improves picture quality. ".

Take a look also at the news release from PowerPax UK, DC/DC LED drivers launched by Powerpax UK, as well as USB host stack for embedded applications from Phaedrus Systems, and Charger ICs for single-cell li-ion batteries from Torex Semiconductor.
