We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "LVDS", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Electronicstalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release SBC takes on graphics intensive applications from BVM, which we summarised at the time by saying "MicroATX-format embedded board promises excellent performance per watt, is I/O-rich offers outstanding 3D graphics performance, impressive I/O bandwidth and outstanding reliability". The same day, we featured the news release TFT displays promise a good read from GPEG International: "Backlit TFT displays produce bright, fully saturated colours with a high contrast ratio and wide viewing angle".

In January 2008, we covered the news from Kontron UK concerning its CRTtoLCD-8 flat panel controller - take a look at Controller supports varied video sources which says: "In addition to RGB and DVI, the CRTtoLCD-8 flat panel controller board offers composite and S-Video inputs for PAL/NTSC signals, providing comprehensive support for different video sources".

Take a look also at the news release from Eurotech, Single-board computer keeps power consumption low, as well as Baseboard offers scalable processor performance from Kontron UK, and Kit gets started on low-power programmable devices from Mouser Electronics.
