We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "M12", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Electronicstalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Industrial connectors gain EMI shields from Binder-USA, which we summarised at the time by saying "Iris spring shielding technology is an effective and simple way to protect equipment from electromagnetic interference". A couple of weeks before, we featured the news release Ethernet and power combine in one connector from Harting: "Connector has been developed in response to the increasing use of industrial Ethernet communications in machine installations".

In December 2007, we covered the news from Binder-USA concerning its 713, 715 and 825 series - take a look at Easier installation for shielded M12s which says: "Right-angled connectors with the cage clamp design ensure persistent pressure of each conductor onto its respective contact".

Take a look also at the news release from ITT Electronic Components, Power connectors set for wide exposure, as well as M12 connectors don stainless steel from Binder-USA, and Shielded connectors are quicker to install from Binder-USA.
