Several months prior to that, we featured the news release IC chosen for cordless phones from SiTel Semiconductor: "SiTel's SC14480 single-chip DECT/CAT-iq solution allows Siemens' phones to offer 8kHz voice enhancement and full duplex echo canceling for standard and wideband audio.".
 
In June 2008, we covered the news from SiTel Semiconductor - take a look at Cordless chip eases handset design which says: "The SC14480 is the first single-chip DECT/CAT-iq solution to enter full-scale production.".
