Advanced Micro Peripherals, which we summarised at the time by saying "Advanced Micro Peripherals (AMP) has unveiled a multi-format video encoder that combines graphics overlay, motion detection and enhanced watermark authentication on a PC/104-Plus module.".
Several months prior to that,
we featured the news release Broadcom Crystal HD solution offered to OEMs from
Broadcom Corp: "Broadcom has announced that its Crystal HD technology is to be made available to OEMs wanting to deliver high-quality video playback on the Intel Atom processor platform for netbooks.".
