‘Overvoltage Protection’

An Electronicstalk guide

Start with the news release LTM8025 provides 36V input and 24V output voltage from Linear Technology, which we summarised at the time by saying "Linear Technology has introduced the LTM8025, a 3A high-voltage DC/DC uModule regulator system with up to 36V input voltage and 24V output voltage.". Several months prior to that, we featured the news release ALL PSU adds AQF-120 power supplies to AQF series from All PSU : "ALL PSU has introduced the AQF-120 series of 180W power supplies. ".

In January 2010, we covered the news from Linear Technology Corp - take a look at LT3758 generates positive and negative voltages which says: "Linear Technology has brought out the LT3758, a high-input voltage DC/DC controller for boost, flyback, Sepic and inverting power-supply applications.".

Take a look also at the news release from EMKA, EMKA offers quarter-turn locks in mini package, as well as California Micro expands Luxguard turnkey range from California Micro Devices, and Micro SD card reader features vertical assembly from Yamaichi Electronics.
