Start with the news release Gateway supports telephony from Aculab, which we summarised at the time by saying "ApplianX Gateway is a basic-hybrid gateway, designed to run the Mediation Server function of Office Communications Server 2007 pre-installed within ApplianX Gateway". The day before, we featured the news release Telecommunications company makes multimedia choice from Surf Communication Solutions: "The high capacity of the Surf DSP-12 makes it very easy to convert the full capacity of PRI ISDN directly into GSM networks".
