An Electronicstalk guide

Start with the news release Torex Semiconductor introduces XCM519 MCM from Torex Semiconductor, which we summarised at the time by saying "Torex Semiconductor has unveiled its XCM519 multi-chip module (MCM).". Several months prior to that, we featured the news release Bright answer for dimming backlights from Linear Technology Corp: "DC/DC convertor ICs are ideal for applications such as automotive display backlighting. ".

In January 2008, we covered the news from Linear Technology Corp - take a look at LED driver powers three strings of eight which says: "Fixed-frequency current-mode architecture ensures stable operation over a wide range of supply and output voltages.".

Take a look also at the news release from Fairchild Semiconductor, Drivers bridge from logic to power MOSFETs, as well as Record number of papers for San Francisco IEDM from IMEC, and Riber brings MBE system to Ge and III-V research from IMEC.
