We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "POTS", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Electronicstalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Pots are perfect for pro audio from BI Technologies Electronic Components Division, which we summarised at the time by saying "Panel potentiometers are available in a variety of constructions, and some models feature life cycles up to 100,000 rotations". A couple of weeks before, we featured the news release Signalling protocol package meets latest standards from Netbricks: "The new Netbricks interworking signaling protocol package IWF-Bricks POTS is fully compliant with the latest TiSpan ETSI standards".

In August 2007, we covered the news from Catalyst Semiconductor concerning its CAT5114 in 2 x 2.5mm TDFN - take a look at Digital pots come in smaller packages which says: "Digitally programmable potentiometer now available in an 8-lead 2 x 2.5mm TDFN package, making it the world's smallest nonvolatile digital potentiometer".

Take a look also at the news release from Almit Technology, Solder comes in handy-sized bars, as well as Digital pots retain precision from Intersil, and Extraction units improve working environment from Solbraze.
