We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Processor architectures", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Electronicstalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Development kit supports embedded processor from LynuxWorks, which we summarised at the time by saying "The MicroBlaze embedded processor now offers the memory protection that traditional Linux users typically require in their designs". A few weeks before, we featured the news release Embedded programming is made for DSP from National Instruments: "Graphical embedded design platform takes charge of Blackfin development".

In August 2007, we covered the news from Green Hills Software concerning its Freescale multicore support - take a look at Device software expands multicore coverage which says: "Tools provide developers priceless visibility, control and optimised performance for multiple execution paths in applications on Freescale multicore solutions".

Take a look also at the news release from ChipX, 32bit processor cores expand ASIC options, as well as Licensed kernel overcomes open source limitations from Wittenstein high integrity systems, and Link brings model based design to ADI DSPs from MathWorks.
