We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Programmable potentiometers", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Electronicstalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Potentiometers can be programmed never to forget from Catalyst Semiconductor, which we summarised at the time by saying "Digitally programmable potentiometers can be permanently set to an initial reading so that no further adjustments are possible". A few weeks before, we featured the news release Programmable potentiometers have 32 taps from Catalyst Semiconductor: "Catalyst Semiconductor has added five new 32-tap devices to its extensive family of over 30 digitally programmable potentiometers".

In May 2006, we covered the news from Catalyst Semiconductor concerning its CAT5133 - take a look at Programmable pot aims for improved LCD performance which says: "A 15V 128-tap digitally programmable potentiometer is designed for calibration and control functions in high-voltage consumer, industrial and medical applications".

Take a look also at the news release from Spectrum Group, Digital potentiometer turns to higher voltages, as well as High voltage pots expand digital applications from Catalyst Semiconductor, and Alliance targets solid-state illumination from Catalyst Semiconductor.
