We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "QSOP", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Electronicstalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release LED driver suits large applications from Solid State Supplies, which we summarised at the time by saying "A high-speed, four-wire serial interface with up to 25MHz clock frequency controls each individual channel using a shift register and latch configuration". A couple of weeks before, we featured the news release Driver powers up large LED displays from Catalyst Semiconductor: "Constant-current sink LED driver is designed for billboard, marquee, instrument and other larger, general-purpose LED displays".

In August 2007, we covered the news from Allegro MicroSystems Europe concerning its ACS760 - take a look at Hot-swap protection for 12V systems which says: "Hot-swap protection IC combines Hall-effect current sensing technology with hot-swap control circuitry, resulting in a highly efficient integrated controller".

Take a look also at the news release from Intersil, In amp range includes first quad device, as well as Non-RoHS components answer continuing demand from IRC Advanced Film Division, and Multiplexer makes the most of video bandwidth from Intersil.
