Start with the news release
Lattice and Praesum release RapidIO 2.1 IP core from
Lattice Semiconductor UK, which we summarised at the time by saying "Lattice Semiconductor and Praesum Communications have announced the availability of the Serial RapidIO 2.1 endpoint soft IP core for the LatticeECP3 FPGA range.".
Several months prior to that,
we featured the news release Serial IP core supports RapidIO 2.1 specification from
Altera Europe: "Altera has announced the first intellectual property (IP) core supporting the RapidIO 2.1 specification. ".
In October 2009, we covered the news from Commagility
- take a look at Commagility launches 10G Ethernet/CPRI interfaces
which says: "Commagility has launched the AMC-V5F-10G, a high-performance FPGA-based interface and processing card for wireless baseband and other processing and optical data interfacing applications.".
Take a look also at the news release from Lattice Semiconductor UK, Lattic develops 3G/4G remote radio head solution,
as well as Freescale processor is suited to wireless apps from Freescale Semiconductor,
and Altera RapidIO passes Riolab testing from Altera Europe.
