Start with the news release Toby Electronics offers Ultra-Hard Metric socket from Toby Electronics, which we summarised at the time by saying "3M has introduced an Ultra-Hard Metric (UHM) socket that can deliver backplane speeds in excess of 7Gbps in systems based on 2mm hard metric connectors. ". Several months prior to that, we featured the news release Test system gives accurate vibration measurements from National Instruments: "National Instruments has announced a portable bus-powered dynamic signal acquisition (DSA) module and a suite of vibration sensors suitable for making high-accuracy vibration measurements. ".
