We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "SIMD", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Electronicstalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Development suite unites key technologies from ARM, which we summarised at the time by saying "Enables developers to use a single set of tools from architectural exploration, through SoC design, system bring-up and the deployment of hardware and virtual platforms". A couple of weeks before, we featured the news release Paper to describe novel programmable baseband from Coresonic: "Fully programmable baseband processor will enable standards such as mobile WiMAX and DVB-T/H to be implemented much more efficiently than fixed-function circuits".

In January 2008, we covered the news from ACE Associated Compiler Experts concerning its CoSy - take a look at Compiler development aids coprocessor acceleration which says: "ClearSpeed has developed a powerful, multithreading compiler for the CSX600 architecture, based on the CoSy compiler development system".

Take a look also at the news release from TenAsys Corporation, RTOS supports Integrated Performance Primitives, as well as Silicon IP upgrades handset image processing from DxO Labs, and Open source kit exploits multicore benefits from 3DLabs Semiconductor.
