We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "TFT displays", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Electronicstalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release TFT displays promise a good read from GPEG International, which we summarised at the time by saying "Backlit TFT displays produce bright, fully saturated colours with a high contrast ratio and wide viewing angle". Earlier in the week, we featured the news release Split screens remain clear in the sunlight from Display Technology: "The new narrow bezel technology has made video walls suitable for applications with a bezel width of only 15mm".

In February 2008, we covered the news from Renesas Technology Europe concerning its SH7721 microprocessor - take a look at Microprocessor helps boost battery life which says: "The SH7721 microprocessor integrates a TFT controller with up to 1024 x 1024 resolution and with an associated, dedicated 2.4Kbyte line-buffer RAM to prevent flickering".

Take a look also at the news release from Hitachi Europe - Display Products Group, VGA-resolution module has long-life backlight, as well as Custom TFTs suit specific applications from Anders Electronics, and Easy evaluation for all TFT displays from Densitron Display Solutions.
