We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Transimpedance", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Electronicstalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Amplifiers double the signal gain from Micrel, which we summarised at the time by saying "Postamplifiers are intended for applications where the receiver optical subassemblies with low-cost/low-gain transimpedance amplifiers and/or PIN photodiodes are used". A few weeks before, we featured the news release TIA/AGC meets 10Gbit/s needs from Inphi Corp: "The 1348TA S03D is designed to meet or exceed every requirement of the IEEE802.3aq, 10GBASE-LRM (10G LRM) standard".

In August 2007, we covered the news from Maxim Integrated Products concerning its MAX9930-MAX9933 - take a look at Low-power log amps take control which says: "Devices provide a choice of three different input-voltage ranges, eliminating the need for external attenuators and simplifying amplifier control-loop design".

Take a look also at the news release from Texas Instruments (April 2006-), High-speed precision logarithmic amplifier, as well as Transmit module sends 10G over multimode from Emcore Corp, and CMOS dual op amp claims breakthrough performance from Linear Technology Corp.
