We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "USB peripheral", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Electronicstalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release USB hubs expand data acquisition options from Sealevel Systems, which we summarised at the time by saying "Sealevel Systems is expanding its popular USB hub family to include new high-speed four- and seven-port USB 2.0 hubs". A few weeks before, we featured the news release Wireless device is certified for USB from NXP Semiconductors: "The ISP3582 native wireless USB device controller has passed certification testing for wireless USB Specification 1.0".

In May 2007, we covered the news from Sealevel Systems concerning its SeaI/O-270U - take a look at Hub protects PCs from instrumental excesses which says: "Seven-port optically isolated USB hub protects computers from the power surges, spikes and ground loops that are commonly found in industrial and OEM applications".

Take a look also at the news release from Computer Solutions, USB drivers are made for embedded systems, as well as Flash microcontrollers claim new power lows from Atmel Corporation, and USB controllers meet Implementers Forum standards from Oxford Semiconductor.
