We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "VDSL", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Electronicstalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release VDSL2 chipsets drive fibre to the remote from Ikanos Communications, which we summarised at the time by saying "Chipsets are designed to deliver the highest throughput and density with the lowest power consumption per port". A couple of weeks before, we featured the news release Reference deal facilitates high-speed internet from Tensilica: "UpZide's solution builds on the existing and continued roll out of FTTN (fibre-to-the-network) VDSL2 deployment by significantly increasing both data rates and reach over the existing copper network".

In November 2007, we covered the news from Ikanos Communications concerning its Fx10050S-5 VDSL2 chipset - take a look at Chipset supports VDSL2 testing which says: "Ikanos' fifth generation Fx10050S-5 VDSL2 CPE chipset supports all VDSL2 profiles up to 17.6MHz and offers up to 100/50Mbit/s performance".

Take a look also at the news release from EZchip Technologies, Processors handle Ethernet demands, as well as Batteries back up outdoor telecomms cabinets from Saft Industrial Batteries, and Cores to power broadband access from MIPS Technologies.
