Start with the news release VxWorks system supports Pentek 4207 processor from Pentek, which we summarised at the time by saying "Pentek has released Wind River's VxWorks operating system support for its Model 4207 processor board for high-performance I/O and data-acquisition systems. ". Several months prior to that, we featured the news release Achronix uses Signali cores for Speedster 1.5GHz from Achronix Semiconductor Corporation: "Achronix Semiconductor has introduced high-performance Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) IP cores for its Speedster 1.5GHz range. ".
 
In May 2009, we covered the news from Ultraview Corporation - take a look at Ultraview unveils AD8-3000 range of PCIe boards which says: "Ultraview, a provider of fast data-acquisition boards, has introduced an ultra-fast PCIe data-acquisition board series allowing uninterrupted acquisition of two concurrent 3GSPS 8-bit A/D channels.".
