We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Wireless Ethernet", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Electronicstalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Embedded controllers add wireless options from Rabbit Semiconductor, which we summarised at the time by saying "The latest RabbitCore modules offer a choice of Wi-Fi/802.11 or ZigBee/802.15.4 wireless communications". A few weeks before, we featured the news release Wireless Ethernet increases industrial penetration from Venture Development Corp: "Market study on industrial network infrastructure finds extensive deployment of wireless Ethernet (Wi-Fi) networking, with an increasing trend toward even greater usage".

In February 2007, we covered the news from Sealevel Systems concerning its SeaI/O-OEM family - take a look at I/O boards offer multiple connection options which says: "Family of bus-independent I/O boards offers choice of host connectivity and a wide range of digital, analogue and serial control capabilities".

Take a look also at the news release from Sealevel Systems, Digital I/O module has eight high-current relays, as well as Dragonwave to provide wireless ethernet backhaul from DragonWave, and CardBus adapter adds USB and Ethernet from Sensoray.
