Start with the news release Development platform precedes Marvell processor from Synopsys, which we summarised at the time by saying "Virtual platform enables development of smartphones, handheld and consumer electronics devices that use the Marvell PXA3xx XScale technology application processor". A few weeks before, we featured the news release XScale boards speed wireless development from SDC Systems: "Hardware platforms and reference design boards target engineers working to develop wireless systems".
