Chokes provide economical performance
Almag has expanded its WE, WS and WP ranges of storage inductors and differential-mode suppression chokes.
Almag has expanded its Type WE, WS and WP ranges of storage inductors and differential-mode suppression chokes, which use selected grades of iron powder cores to achieve the optimum balance between cost and performance All types are in toroidal format for low flux leakage
Applications in the lighting, audio and power conversion fields include SMPSU output inductors, differential EMC chokes and PFC inductors up to 7kW.
Included are 301 separate designs, with current ratings from 0.3 to 40A, inductance values up to 87mH and ripple frequencies up to 200kHz.
Sizes range from 21 to 118mm diameter.
Vertical mounting bases are available for the smaller sizes, with Almag's epoxy potting mounting for easy mounting and improved cooling available for the larger sizes.
