Powder cores boost choke performance
A new range of storage inductors and differential-mode suppression chokes use high-energy-storage Hi-Flux powder cores to achieve the highest inductance in minimum size.
A new range of storage inductors and differential-mode suppression chokes use high-energy-storage Hi-Flux powder cores to achieve the highest inductance in minimum size In toroidal format for low flux leakage, the newcomers are aimed at applications in the lighting, audio amplifier and power conversion fields, including switch-mode PSU output storage inductors, differential EMC chokes and power factor correction inductors
Included in the WH Range are 111 separate designs, with current ratings from 0.5 to 22A, inductance values up to 19mH and ripple frequencies up to 200kHz.
Sizes range from 13 to 59mm diameter.
Vertical mounting bases are available for the smaller sizes, with the company's epoxy potting for easy mounting and improved cooling available for the larger sizes.
