Dimmer chokes offer economical EMC
Almag has revised its Type WD dimmer choke range in response to changes in the marketplace.
Almag has revised its Type WD dimmer choke range in response to changes in the marketplace The new chokes designs are more closely targeted at the common domestic light dimmer ratings of 100, 160, 250, 400, 500, 630, 800 and 1000W
And additional "economy" types rated between 1 and 5kW offer a combination of lower costs and faster delivery time resulting from the use of faster winding techniques.
The high inductance values of the WD range means that they are also a very economical option for differential EMC suppression, especially where high levels of attenuation are needed.
