DC/DC conversion on an industrial budget
Acal Power Solutions has a family of 10W DC/DC convertors it claims offers an optimised performance/quality/price ratio for industrial applications.
There is no minimum load requirement the units are stable at all loads.
The surface-mount converters measure 33.0 x 13.46 x 9.3mm, and the SIP versions measure 50.8 x 13.0 x 8.3mm.
All have industry-standard footprints and are fully protected against short-circuit, overcurrent and overtemperature conditions.
They offer remote on/off and remote sense compensation.
Cincon's world-class automated manufacturing methods, together with an extensive testing and qualification programme, ensure that all SIP/SMT-16-12 series converters are extremely reliable.
Versions are also available with 5, 10 and 15A outputs, and with a 3.0-5.5V input.
Full design-in support and EMC testing is available from Acal.
