The Cincon SIP/SMT16-12 families of high-power-density single-output DC/DC convertors are available in surface-mount and single-inline open-frame packages.

The Cincon SIP/SMT16-12 families of high-power-density single-output DC/DC convertors are available in surface-mount and single-inline open-frame packages and have been designed to meet the distributed power architecture needs of the fixed and mobile telecommunications and computing markets Offering an efficiency of up to 94%, these convertors provide a precisely regulated, adjustable output voltage from 0.75 to 5.0V DC from a wide input voltage range of 9.0 to 14.0V DC, and can operate over an ambient temperature range of -40 to +85C

There is no minimum load requirement the units are stable at all loads.

The surface-mount converters measure 33.0 x 13.46 x 9.3mm, and the SIP versions measure 50.8 x 13.0 x 8.3mm.

All have industry-standard footprints and are fully protected against short-circuit, overcurrent and overtemperature conditions.

They offer remote on/off and remote sense compensation.

Cincon's world-class automated manufacturing methods, together with an extensive testing and qualification programme, ensure that all SIP/SMT-16-12 series converters are extremely reliable.

Versions are also available with 5, 10 and 15A outputs, and with a 3.0-5.5V input.
