"This is an important, innovative development for the industry and for Adamant", said Dr Talal Allos, Adamant Director and Executive Board Member.
"We have built a hard-won reputation in the industry over the last 20 years for components which are top quality and reflect our brand and heritage.
The new convertors build on that reputation and visitors to our stand will have the chance to see for the first time in the world a family of connector convertors that interconnect into a whole new era".
The connector convertor has risen to prominence in the last few years as the greater installation of optical systems has created a large demand for reliable and high quality designs to interface between legacy (1.25 to 2.5mm ferrule sizes) and the emerging, new SFF connectors.
Adamant's new convertors incorporate the company's unique technological expertise to interface reliably and efficiently between the two connector families.
Complying with Telcordia GR-326-CORE specifications, the convertors feature low insertion loss and high return loss according to individual system optical performances.
All Adamant convertors include Adamant's own internationally recognised superior quality Zirconia ceramic ferrules and sleeves, guaranteeing high stability, repeatability and reliability.
Adamant convertors are available in various connector configurations, namely LC-SC, LC-MU, MU-SC for single and multimode, and in duplex and simplex styles.
