The AEC-6900 is the newest product in the Boxer S line of advanced embedded controllers.

The AEC-6900 is the newest product in the Boxer S line of advanced embedded controllers that has the consistent design inherent in the Boxer series but is more user friendly and higher in performance The AEC-6900 is based on the Intel Ultra Low Voltage (ULV) Celeron processor running at 650MHz and supports up to two PCI slots (the second one is optional) and two PCMCIA slots

It also features four COM ports, a parallel port, USB 1.1, LAN and VGA ports on front and rear panels for easy user access.

The unit can withstand vibration up to 5g RMS and has anti-shock capabilities up to 100g.

The AEC-6900 supports DC 9-30V power input as standard and can optionally run from external AC power.

In addition, this model supports AC97 Audio for multimedia applications.

By integrating multimedia functionality into automation applications, the AEC-6900 will be a killer product for the automation market and Aaeon reckons it is a perfect solution for users with critical demands.
